UX design and prototyping for websites and apps

We research your audience, design user scenarios and create a modern interface. Design determines the first impression, usability and conversion — so we work through not just the look, but the logic too.

  • UX: structure, scenarios and prototypes that lead the user to the goal
  • UI: a modern style that reflects your brand and preferences
  • Mockups ready for development — and we can build them right away

What we design

Design for websites, apps and brands

We create modern, stylish design, work through the UX and UI, and take the client's wishes into account.

Website design

Corporate websites, landing pages and portals — responsive for phones, tablets and desktops.

Online store design

Catalog, product pages, cart and checkout — so that buying is easy.

App interfaces

Screens for iOS and Android that follow the platform guidelines and users' habits.

Web services and user accounts

Complex interfaces with large amounts of data, roles and scenarios.

Logos and brand identity

Logo, colors, fonts and the rules for using them — the foundation of a recognizable brand.

Advertising materials

Banners, presentations and graphics for ads and social media in a consistent style.

UX and UI

Beautiful and usable — at the same time

A beautiful but inconvenient site loses customers. A usable but plain one fails to inspire trust. That is why we work on both sides of the interface.

UX — user experienceUser Experience

Whether a person can achieve their goal in your interface and how easy it is to do so.

  • Audience and competitor research
  • Structure and navigation
  • User scenarios and prototypes
  • A path to an enquiry or purchase without unnecessary steps
UI — the lookUser Interface

What the interface will look like: colors, fonts, whether buttons are easy to tap and text is easy to read.

  • A visual concept in the brand style
  • Typography, colors and icons
  • UI kit and component library
  • Responsive for all devices
How we work

From brief to finished mockups

Clients don't always know exactly what the result should be — and that is normal. We find common ground at the start and approve every stage together.

  1. 1Brief and research

We study the business, audience and competitors, and collect references and preferences

  2. 2Structure and prototypes

We design the navigation and scenarios, and prototype the key pages or screens

  3. 3Concept

We present the visual concept using the home page or a key screen as an example

  4. 4Design of all pages

We draw every page and state, and build responsive versions for phones and tablets

  5. 5UI kit and handover

We assemble the components and styles so development goes fast and nothing gets distorted

  6. 6Development support

We make sure the design is implemented precisely — or do the development ourselves

What clients say about working with us

All reviews

Before working with PromoLab, we had worked with several well-known website promotion companies and freelancers. It was a bitter experience, because none of them delivered even a tenth of the results that Alexander and his team achieved. The success of our business is PromoLab's achievement too!

Alexander Kravchenko

We are completely satisfied with our cooperation with PromoLab. A professional approach, lightning-fast responses to our requests and strong results—that is how their work can be summed up in a few words.

Alexander Dembovsky
Alexander DembovskyBusiness Development Director, M-Technology

After turning to PromoLab, we optimized our budget and increased our average conversion rate 2.5 times. For some traffic sources the conversion rate was around 40%. Despite such strong results, the team keeps suggesting new tools and working to improve performance

We partnered with Promolab to design our website. We found them incredibly helpful and patient as we really didn't know what we wanted. Alex met with us on numerous occasions and we found the whole process a great experience. We ended up with a website we loved. I would definitely recommend Promolab - you won't be disappointed.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about design

How much does website or app design cost?
The cost depends on the number of unique pages or screens, the complexity of the interface and whether you need a brand identity. After a brief we will prepare an estimate and a work plan, free of charge.
Can I order design only, without development?
Yes. We will hand over the mockups and UI kit to your team and answer questions during implementation. But it is more convenient when one team does both design and development: that way nothing gets lost in the handover.
What do you need from us to get started?
A short brief about your company and goals, examples of websites you like and dislike, and your brand identity if you have one. If you don't have clear preferences yet, that is fine: we will help you formulate them.
Can we request changes?
Yes, revisions are a normal part of the work. We approve every stage with you: structure, prototypes, concept and final mockups, so there are no unpleasant surprises at the end.
Do you create logos and brand identities?
Yes: we design logos, brand identities and advertising materials — banners, presentations and social media graphics.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. For example, we redesigned the Moscow Parking portal. During a redesign we keep what already works and take SEO into account so you don't lose your search rankings.
Do you take SEO into account when designing?
Yes. We design the site structure around search queries, and the mockups make room from the start for copy, reviews, prices and other elements that affect rankings.
